Highway Construction & Maintenance
Throughout the last thirty years Glass Machinery & Excavation has specialized in highway construction and maintenance, successfully completing projects in southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee. Glass Machinery has been pre-qualified through VDOT since the late 1980s and have performed highway projects ranging from simple road widening to new construction. We have constructed several projects along routes 23, 58, 65, and 80 in southwest Virginia. Scopes of these projects have often included grading, erosion control, paving, striping, guardrail, and concrete work. As well, each project has been completed with a high level of satisfaction from its owner. No project is too small or too large for us when it comes to highway work.
In addition to our highway construction abilities, Glass Machinery has extensive experience in highway maintenance with the Virginia DOT. We have served the counties of Lee, Scott, Wise, Dickenson, and Washington using our highly experienced highway maintenance personnel. Glass Machinery currently performs the following services across southwest Virginia:
